Nice Foods

This is a very important question to answer: When did we humans first begin consuming foods? And what were the foods involved? Did they eat elephants, insects, or leaves? When did humans first learn and start cooking, and making drinks such as fine wines and liquor? Who determined humans needed at least three meals a day?

Many ancient skulls discovered by archeologist reveal by studying their teeth that they rarely ate meat. Their diet consisted almost entirely of plants. Also many have revealed that most ancient cultures didn’t suffer from any tooth and bone deficiencies and decay and problems that we do today. Isn’t it ironic that dead people’s ancient skulls buried in the ground, for thousands of years, have all their teeth intact yet people who are alive right now are missing most of theirs?

Scientists show that a baby human is born with the capability of surviving a thousand years. Then something happens over the baby’s life span that causes it to have a cap of roughly 120 years of life. Even moderate poisoning over time, through contact in drinking water, food, smoking, etcetera of such substances like arsenic and cyanide and mercury and lead and nicotine and others deteriorate and slow the body until it eventually dies, but all have been found to take merely only 20 years off somebody’s life. And so scientists are still baffled by what could possibly have taken 900 years off our lives. But anyhow nobody is assuming that humans ever lived that long anyways except for in the Bible. But could it actually be possible like these scientists are trying to say?

Only one thing has changed over the centuries that could be considered major enough to take off 900 years worth of lifespan. Technology of course is major, but not all humans on the planet have access to technology. And yet globally, we all have roughly the same lifespan, meaning around 60-100 years of longevity. Globally and historically only one thing has changed that has any significant affect on our bodies.

How humans eat is a very huge thing because the average person eats roughly three times every day, which equates into millions of meals for that human during their life time. What else does a human do a million times during a life time? What else does a human put inside his or her body? What else chemically and biologically combines and unifies itself with our very molecules and cellular structure? What else fuels our brains and organs and nervous system? What else determines the balance of our blood and sugar and fluids? What else helps determine how much oxygen we absorb?

Food is one of the most potent and vital factors determining the state and development and welfare and lifespan of our bodies. In fact food even affects our cultures and traditions. Food shapes who we are individually, as a family, as a community, as a nation, and as a world.

Every culture in different nations has a different life span and state of health. Each culture has a different level of health. Some cultures are known for staying young longer whereas others get old very quickly. Some cultures have stronger bone and muscle structures than others. Science has shown that how tall or short a person is has been influenced by how previous generations have eaten. Many incredibly vital and important and major changes in the body can be attributed almost entirely due to eating habits of the individual and their ancestors.

When trying to lose or gain weight experts continue to say that eating habits affect the outcome by almost 70%. That’s a big percentage to consider. Look around and you will find numerous hordes of people who will tell you that exercise didn’t get rid of all their excess weight. In almost every instance exercise took sometimes many years to make any difference at all. The average person only loses about 5 pounds per month with even extreme diets and exercise and other methods. And losing an amount any greater than that within a month’s time is considered dangerous for our complex systems.

The majority of all sickness can be attributed to what we eat. Almost all of the viruses, bacteria, germs, and other harmful substances and organisms enter our bodies through our mouth carried on the food that we consume. You’ve seen the dust particles floating in the air when the sun shines through a window or in a beam of light. So you know that we’re constantly inhaling these particles. And our nasal passage and throat are constantly collecting and trying to dispose of these things, keeping them from getting any farther into our body. But imagine how much of these particles are landing on our food. How long does food normally sit out in the open before we consume it?

Processed food is exposed, processed, packaged, shipped, re-opened, cooked, left sitting out, served, left on our plates, and then eventually eaten as we consume it one fork or spoon full at a time. That is a ton of exposure. You are not only eating the dust that is in the air around you, but that was in the factory, and in the store, and everywhere else that this food was exposed. Even cooked dirt is still dirt.

Breakfast Prevents Obesity And Heart Disease

Green Smoothie

Researchers have discovered that going without breakfast too often leads to obesity as well as higher cholesterol levels and probably diabetes. I think we have to listen to the old wisdom of our grandmothers who insisted for us to take our breakfasts with enthusiasm.

The scientists think that one reason for this predicament is that if you skip breakfast there is a big possibility that you will likely to snack on sugary junk foods and consequently have a lower intake of fiber, vitamins, minerals and other necessary nutrients.

At the same time, it significantly alters the way your body stores fat. For sure, I know that some people cannot face breakfast when they have to get up early most especially if they have had a large meal the night before. Modern eating habits have already changed. Unfortunately, this is a change our bodies don’t want to adapt to voluntarily because at the end of the day it is our overall health which can be sacrificed.

Are you are one of these? Certainly, there must be something we could do to balance this problem. My answer for this dilemma is to have a large green smoothie instead. If you are like me who never have much time in the mornings then you can instead get everything ready the night before.

Have your fruit and green leaves ready washed in the fridge. You can even cut the fruit up in advance to save time. Then, all you have to do is tip everything into the blender with enough water to make the blades turn and in less than a minute you have a delicious, nutritious green smoothie. Believe me you and your body will really love this concoction. Plus you will be surprised to have a glowing beautiful skin in the process.

You can take the smoothie to work with you in a suitable container and drink it when you feel more like it.

Don’t deprive your body of the nutrients it badly needs!

Is There Such A Thing As Free Energy?

We Need Free Energy

We Need Free Energy

Is there really such an animal as “free energy?” This debate has been going on and researches have been initially conducted to determine the presence of free energy. By free energy it refers to the power that could be sourced out of our atmosphere which we all know is just all around us. It has limitless supply and the cost associated could be minimal. So scientists are working to verify its actual state and to draw up ways and means to extract the energy for potential human use. I could only imagine the possibilities of this source if only it is true and harvestable.

What would come out of your mind when reading the term “free energy device?” Most probably you will think on various ideas or concepts like tools for amassing and conveying energy from a source not yet traditionally utilized. As for me, I am hoping for an effective and efficient device which can collect our energy requirements at zero cost. Just like the magical concept of continuous motion machine. But then, it must be pointed out that a perpetual motion machine is really impossible – maybe at least for now barring new scientific discoveries in the future.

Having said that piece, we are still dreaming or at least wishing for a new technology that could effectively harness the energy just floating on the air. Yes, for now impossible but we don’t know the future possibilities. As science progresses, we know that new technologies replace old ones constantly and what was once impossible became possible. To illustrate this point, the power of atom for energy was impossible before 1940s. Traveling at a fast speed thru airplanes became possible only by the turn of the 20th courtesy of the Wright Brothers.  So you see, the possibilities lies in the future.

Active proponents of “free” energy are pointing out to the tremendous presence of energy at the so-called Zero Point Field (ZPF).  ZPF is a quantum automatic state of substance for a definite system which is reached when the system is at the lowest probable energy position possible. This is the area or situation called the “ground state” of the system. The potential energy is called as Zero Point Energy (ZPE) – which is defined as “residual” energy. It might be your first time to hear these terms but these things was first expounded as an alternative form of energy in 1913 by Otto Stern and Albert Einstein. This is not really something new. In quantum physics, it is referred to as a “vacuum energy” it is believed to be the representation of the energy of the completely empty space.

According to Hal Puthof, this energy field lying inside the vacuum can be compared to the bubbles at the base of a raging waterfall. He likewise explained that the term ‘zero-point’ basically means that in case the entire universe were frozen down to absolute zero (a state where every thermal agitation effects are totally frozen),  this energy would still stay put. However, with all the projected potentials of this energy, physicists could not pinpoint out the possible implications with the use of this energy. As we all know, playing with nature could also mean playing with fire – it could produce burn blisters where they are not intended to.

Knowing the excited and profitable possibilities of this yet mysterious field, physicists are conducting and examining the details on the potential use of free energy. Certainly, if we can only “mine” this limitless reservoir of energy, then we are in for a new era of energy production. On the basis that this energy can be maneuvered, it opens the door for controlling this energy – as well as for inertia and gravity – which is assumed can yield towards engineering explanations.

The future needs new sources of power as we can not go ahead being overly dependent on the dwindling and politically charged fossil fuels. Scientists are now on the race to discover and develop greener and cheaper alternatives.

Let our future be lighted by that power!

Going Green In Easy Ways

Many Species. One Planet. One Future

Many Species. One Planet. One Future

There are so many ways of going green or environmentally conscious. There are some people who might be thinking that going green is beyond their own reach. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, going green is an individual and personal choice. Each and everyone of us could do something and do our own share for the upliftment and preservation of our only planet Earth. Come to think of it, it is not hard nor complicated to go green. In other words, it is the small things we do everyday that counts the most.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. As consumers, we have the responsibility to lessen our impact on the planet Earth. Everything that we consume comes from the resources of the planet. The 3 R’s are the basic guide for all of us living here on this planet. First, if you don’t need it don’t buy it – this way you are reducing wastes. You might be surprise to learn that there so many things you are buying which just ended up in the garage. As to the things that you can still use, don’t throw it away nor buy a new one. If you can still repair your child’s bike, why buy a new one? All the other things that must be put away, get into a community-based recycling program if there is available one in your area.

Shopping habits. Aside from the 3 R’s above, it would help a lot if you can bring your own bag while shopping. There are now reusable “eco-bags” available in different shopping centers. You are reducing the garbage to be thrown into landfills this way. Plastic and paper bags will only contributing to more problems for the environment.

Dangerous chemicals on your bathroom. Scientists are already sounding the alarm of so many poisonous and harmful chemicals on different personal care products right on your bathroom and kitchen. What are these chemicals? Names like formaldehyde, sodium hydroxide, phthalates, ammonia, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, butyl cellosolve, propylene glycol and many more are now questionable. However, most of the leading brands are continually using these chemicals because they are all cheap and very effective. Harmful both to you and the environment. Look at the list of ingredients of your brand and in most probability you can find some of these chemicals in there listed. Thankfully, there are now products on the market, which refused to play along and use natural ingredients instead.

Use CFL light bulbs in your entire home. Instead of the traditional incandescent lightbulbs, it is now recommended to use CFL instead. Compact Flourescent Light (CFL) light bulbs are known to last longer and bulbs are known to last longer and use less energy. It could save 75% energy which means great savings in the bill plus it ahs a lifetime of at least 10 times compared to the incandescent ones.

Plant trees and start a garden. As we are taking the air we breathe from the trees and plants, it would surely help the environment if we can plant more whenever possible. You can also start a small garden in your own backyard. This is both refreshing and therapeutic to you and your whole family.

Let us all go green! We can do it right! We can do it now!
